Our Own Emerald City, Only Better!
Yes, it feels a little bit like a fairy tale living here sometimes. Safe, secure, small, friendly. With all of us located on just one continuous oval street, it's easy to visit with neighbors, take a leisurely stroll around the canal walking trail, or ride your bike.

Do you remember the first time you entered the gates of Emerald Park and saw the beautiful fountain beckoning you in? Ahhh, love at first sight indeed!
Then once inside, you really started to see some of the wonderful amenities of Emerald Park. The blue-water canal with four lovely water fountains featured down the middle. Just one continuous street lined with 72 beautiful homes on either side. Wrought-iron gates and fences in every back yard. All of this nestled inside a gated community for an extra dose of privacy and security!

If your backyard happens to face the canal, you are greeted by happy water features whose sights and sounds might just lull you into relaxing on your porch or deck from afternoon till dusk. The canal also hosts some really big fish - that you can keep after your catch them! Then there's the cute ducks and turtles who randomly float by, not to be outdone by the occasional geese fly-bys!
Advantages of Living in a Gated Community
It's simple, really. Gated communities offer more security and safety than ungated neighborhoods. Other than delivery personnel, only residents and invited guests enter through the gate. Having controlled access like this provides the neighborhood with a much-desired reduction in traffic for both pedestrians and children.

A sense of community is another natural by-product of living in a gated community. Residents have a greater awareness of who is a resident and who is a stranger, which then results in trust and familiarity between fellow neighbors. Gated communities also offer social events to further perpetuate good neighborhood relations.
